Twitter Tips & Tricks

If you are serious about Twitter, you need TweetAdder

I put this here because of all the tools I have used for Twitter, this is by far the most effective one I have found. My follow list has not only grown significantly since I started using this tool but the quality of the follows are strong. This tool is responsible for a huge jump in quality traffic to my sites. There is a free trial so I encourage you to give it a shot.

The Good: It is very good that the download is free and you can try it first. This is a great tool that automates everything. I have been able to use this to add a hundreds of highly targeted followers.

The Bad: It runs on your computer so you need to have your computer on and connected to the internet for it to work. For many of us that keep our computers on all day, this is not an issue.

Twitter and the Tips & Tricks have evolved!

So much has changed with Twitter since I first wrote this article on Twitter Tips & Tricks.

At the time I am re-writing this my twitter account has just over fifteen thousand followers.  That would sound like a boom for any social media or network marketer.  Just think, fifteen thousand people that are looking at your links.  Well, it does not quite work that way.

I encourage you to watch my webinar on social media that I consider a must watch for any network marketer and home or small business owner.  Click here to watch the webinar.

Here are some core items you must consider before spending your sweat equity on Twitter for your social media and network marketing efforts:

Go Where Your Customers Go

If you don’t understand your customers there is a good chance you are either not making any money or making only a fraction of the potential if you just better understood your customers.  Go where your customers go.  If they are not on Twitter, walk away.  I dont care how many people tell you that you must be on Twitter, if your customers don’t use it then you are just wasting precious time you could be spending making money for your social media marketing efforts or your network marketing home business.  Know you customer base and go where they go.

Remember “What Is In It For Me” (WIIFM)

If you are not interesting then no one will be interested in you.  How is that for a bumper sticker saying?  It should be plastered on the wall of your office and read each time you start your social media or network marketing efforts.  I kept all of my twitter followers because what I post is interesting.  I get a lot of retweets and mentions and this is due to the type of content I post on twitter for my social medial efforts.  Make sure that whatever you do online it is in service to others and helps them – not just yourself.  This leads me into my next point…

Don’t Spam…often

Okay, if you are building a business even if it is purely social media, network marketing, a home business, or a brick and mortar business you are conducting social media and networking efforts to build your business.  That cannot happen if you dont tell anyone about who you are and what you do.  This goes double for social media and network marketers.  Strike a balance where only a small fraction of your posts are links to your business.  If the rest of your posts are interesting and helpful enough, your followers will not only understand but they may even click on them and check out your business.  That is the bottom line for any social media or network marketing home business.

Be of service to your customers and you will see your business grow.

This is vital for any social media or network marketing business.
