As far Google (and other) are concerned your home business is not welcome.
If you have not heard about this then you are missing some very important information and, if you are not prepared, this can seriously damage to your home business.Google (which own YouTube and Blogger) and other sites such as Squidoo and WordPress.com consider Network Marketing nothing more than SPAM and want it off their sites.
Many sites such as WordPress.com, Blogger, YouTube and Squidoo are deleting accounts promoting Network Marketing and affiliate systems. The terms of service from WordPress.com
Blogs that violate our (WordPress.com) advertising policy: Blogs with the primary purpose of driving traffic to affiliate program and get-rich-quick schemes (“Make six figures from home!!”, “20 easy steps to top profits!!”, etc). This includes multi-level marketing (MLM) blogs and pyramid schemes.
The accounts being deleted are not just the ones promoting a specific opportunity. The “Experts” and “MLM Gurus” found everywhere these days are finding their YouTube accounts wiped out. Recently I came upon one of Tim Sales YouTube channels where many of the videos had been removed for “terms of service violation”. The videos in questions did not promote any specific business or opportunity. Ty Tribble found one of his Squidoo accounts wiped as well.
Are Facebook and Twitter far behind?
Google sets the industry trend and it is only a matter of time before other sites follow suit and start deleting accounts promoting home businesses.
I have also recently learned that even Sound Concepts – a company that provides marketing and hosting services for many Network Marketing companies is having Google remove its videos from YouTube for “copyright violation” If you have a YouTube channel promoting your network marketing company and its products, check to see if the content was created by SoundConcepts. If so,you may be getting a nasty e-mail from YouTube very soon.
The network marketing playing field has just been leveled
What does this mean to anyone trying to grow their network marketing / home buisness to make a better life for themselves and their family online? Well, as Ty puts it; “The playingfield has just been leveled”.
Building a lasting and sustainable home business has always been about making connections and building a network. We teach our team how to make connections – free simple and duplicatable. Your team should do the same for you. If not, here are some tips to help you out:
Approach everyone you meet online (and off) with the intention of getting to know them and making a connection first. Don’t talk about your product / system / opportunity until youare asked. If you have done your job right by then you will know if they even care about what you have to offer.
Besides, people buy from people they trust. You could be selling the cure for cancer (and some of you think you are!) but no one will care unless they trust you first.
Take a close look at your Facebook profile. Ask yourself this question:
If someone with a profile that looked like yours tried to reach out to you, would you believe they are actually interested in you or are they just trying to get you to give them money?
This is the modern day equivalent of the old saying “would you buy a used car from this person?”
